An easy strongman-style upgrade for your barbell training – the cambered bar attachments for all barbells with a 50mm olympic mount!
These high-quality camber converters made of robust steel fit perfectly on all barbell bars with a 50mm sleeve (olympic). Better still, the attachment sleeve is also 50mm (not 48.5mm!), meaning normal olympic weights and collars work perfectly. This means that any barbell can be quickly and easily made into a cambered squat bar!
With this pair of ATX® Cambered Bar Attachments and an olympic barbell, not only can camber squats be achiebed, but also Zercher Squads and Good Mornings; although, for comfort, you may prefer using it alongside a fat bar for the former (Zercher squats).
Due to the offset weight, the cambered bar can reduce the pressure on the shoulders and lower back, while generating a slight torque; This torque challenges your stabilizers, improving balance and body control. A camber bar is often a periodisation option for strongman and powerlifters, particularly during lower back and should discomfort.
