The ATX MBX-770 is a high-quality commercial adjustable bench for those that also wish to perform decline work. For decline purposes, it has a leg brace to the front. A handle is also fitted to the leg brace, which, coupled with the wheels at the back, makes the MBX-770 bench very easy to move around, given the 58kg weight of it. The front feet are deliberately shallow and narrow to help with ease of access and foot-positioning during lifts.

Not being a big fan of decline work, I err towards the cheaper ATX MBX-750. Whereas many adjustable benches advertise a decline position, the bench is not really suitable to do so…it’s more of a token thing. In this circumstance, it has a foot brace and declines to 15 degrees. Other than that, it’s the usual high-quality at a low price that we have come to expect from ATX in their 700-series (formerly branded Barbarian).
