Why do I need acetal rollers?
When it comes to j-hooks and combo racks, the industry standard recommends using hard-rubber rollers, as seen in the original ATX MEGA COMBO and the Eleiko Combo Rack. This is because they prevent damage to the bar’s knurl, unlike steel rollers. However, in high-usage environments like gyms, the hard-rubber rollers can wear out quickly. To address this, the new IPF Approved Combo utilises acetal plastic rollers. These rollers are more durable and only leave scratches on the bar’s knurl, rather than wearing it out through steel-to-steel contact.
These JAWS rollers, made in the UK, are aftermarket replacements for your worn ATX COMBO rollers, providing an upgraded design.
Can I have custom rollers?
Certainly, for an additional cost, we have the option to provide these rollers in a colour of your preference. While our current stock includes black, we are capable of producing rollers in various other colors. These rollers are specifically designed to fit the ATX MEGA COMBO, but we can also create rollers to accommodate other J-hooks, combos, and competition benches. Please reach out to us to discuss your specific needs and requirements.
